Arne Vodder1926 — 2009
The Danish cabinet maker and modernist designer, Arne Vodder was an apprentice of Finn Juhl. In 1951 he set up his own architectural studio together with Anton Borg. Besides other projects the studio was engaged in the development of low budget housing. Vodder collaborated with various furniture brands, including Fritz Hansen, France and Son, Sibast, Cadovius, Nielaus, Erik Jorgensen, Kircodan. His works were extremely popular in the USA and were often used as furnishings in American high end hotels, banks and even in the White House.
