Evgeny Muzalevsky (b. 1995) is a young charismatic artist, in whose image foolishness and rationality coexist organically and sympathetically. A recent graduate of the Moscow Rodchenko School (Sergey Bratkov’s workshop). Evgeny started with photography, then came to painting through graphics, works with sculpture and various media.
Evgeny Muzalevsky does not belong to any artistic groups, acts by himself and always across the environment, circumstances, the visuality of time. He is intuitive, largely self-taught, but with some innate, animal sense of his own, easily recognizable contours, color relations and words describing these relations in the titles of works. Non-academic thinking goes hand to hand with the self-sufficiency and innovation of the language.
Lives and works in Moscow and Frankfurt.
Participant of many exhibitions. His works are in the iconic private collections of the two capitals and the Multimedia Art Museum.
Laureate of the Zverev Art Prize (2021)
