The Palisander Gallery took part in the Cosmoscow international contemporary art fair for the third time, where it showed a collection of design and art combined with a visual solution.
Palisander starts two new directions for Moscow – conceptual objects of young Russian architects and Brazilian modernism. In addition, the stand featured authorial ceramics, sculptures and paintings made by Igor Chelkovski, the artist with whom the gallery constantly works, as well as work from the Color Matrix series by contemporary artist Timofey Parshikov.
Architects Daria Belyakova and Olga Treivas created items specifically for the gallery – they were first shown at the fair, and then partly included in the Russian Collectible exposition, which will open in the Palisander space shortly after Cosmoscow.
According to the gallery’s tradition, modern things coexisted with modernist ones – objects of famous Brazilian designers Joaquim Tenreiro and Jorge Zalszupin.
